State Library celebrates 30 years of Sister State relationship
- Photograph exhibit The Beauty of Zhejiang Province showcases Western Australia’s beautiful Sister State in China
- Display includes 80 photographs capturing the dynamic landscape, vibrant people and culture of the Zhejiang Province
- Free exhibit open until Wednesday 23 August, 2017
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Sister State relationship between Western Australia and the Zhejiang Province in China. To honour the relationship, the State Library presents The Beauty of the Zhejiang Province; an exhibit of 80 photographs showcasing the dynamic landscape, vibrant communities and culture of the Chinese region.
Situated in the coastal area of southeast China, Zhejiang is known for its time-honoured history, prosperous culture, picturesque scenery and dynamic economy. The exhibit captures the beauty of Zhejiang’s natural, cultural and economic landscapes through a selection of brilliant photographic works.
The Beauty of the Zhejiang Province exhibit is on display at the State Library of Western Australia until Wednesday 23 August 2017.
